Sarah Berry: Pray for our daughter. She has had a desire to go into the Foreign Service for many years. She had an interview on the 7 of November and did very well and I thank you for your prayers. She will hear the results in January so please join me in prayer that if this is what God wants for her furture she will be excepted. She Loves the Lord and has been faithful to Him and to the Church. She has worked as the Europe Regional Affairs Team Leader at USAID for many years now. She feels it is time to move on to the next assignment. Christina; a friend of Sarah’s is looking to be accepted into USAID department. Pray for her too.

Also pray for Lin as he travels and makes contacts for the Arts. The Lord seems to be opening doors for him to get into places that he has never gone before. Everywhere he goes people are drawn to him and I know it is because they have a hunger for the Lord and they don´t even know it.

Crystal Clay will be leaving Spain soon so please remember her as she makes her plans and all the ajustments that she will have to make. Pray for her as she goes to the next assignment.

WE need someone who has a burden for Toledo to work in Sintesis. It isn’t the normal missionary lifestyle but it is market place ministries. If you have a love for the Arts and LOVE for the LORD and would like to use your talents in Toledo, Spain please contact us.

Pray for me (Nancy) as I seek the Lord. I would like to see WIN in Europe taken to the next level. I know that the Lord is using this prayer letter for His glory but I feel that I´m to go to places deeper with Him.

Please pray because we are being persecuted by one of the security guard at the hotel where we meet every Sunday. Also they want to raise the rent on the room that we meet in.
We are winning souls and making disciples so the enemy is very angry. So, we are about to put a claim and set a limit to the enemy. This happens to you when you serve God and do His will.
We are still looking for the building to buy and need the money to buy so we don’t have to rent anymore.
Please pray for a miracle in price and location!

We praise the Lord for the wonderful cycle of language studies that will finish the second week in December and for the way the classes allow us to know and befriend many people.

The Christmas season brings with it abundant opportunities to talk about the Lord. We plan to spend a lot of time with our immigrant and Spanish friends during the holidays and ask for wisdom and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit in our message to them.
Please help us pray for fruit for the kingdom here in Granada and that the Lord will raise up His church through committed disciples.

Many new students are coming to the Outreach Center for classes. One new student from Jordan told me she was a teacher of Islam in her country. We thank the Lord for each student and friend and pray that:
We will be sensitive and obedient to the Holy Spirit.
We can be instruments of His love and Word to our friends, neighbors and students.
For them to have a personal experience with the Lord and follow Him.
That students and friends hearts will be touched as we share with them what Thanksgiving means. That we can find a reliable car to buy.

Over thirty students in this cycle of classes.
In September I fell and cracked a bone in my foot but it is already out of the cast and much better. Prasie the Lord.

Stronger commitment from the members of the church.
Church members to show love to each other and not to a selected few.

A possible merger with another church is possible. The founding pastor and his leaders are now all in favor for their church to join with others. If this merger takes place, there will be many benefits for the Kingdom of God. For this church have many gifted young members and doing ministries that we lack in our church.

We have some prayer request for our church. Some of our leaders are planning to leave. Please pray that they receive Gods direction IF IT IS TIME to go and if so for good directions and that God will provide for the church for them to be replaced.We also should receive an inheritance as a church since one year. First the government did not give the authorization. With the new government (Sarkozy) the law has changed and we don't need the authorization any more. Praise God. Now there are still some administrative problems. Please pray that nothing will come up and hinder this financial blessing we need very much. Thank you so much for your prayers. We have great news!!! God is faithful and He has performed a great miracle and wonderfully provided through an unexpected gift. Please pray for us, that we will stand in the middle and against all the forces of the enemy and win the victory de la Bataille de France.

Soñarte: “means dare to dream” we had an evangelistic outreach to children in Toledo by Síntesis. We had an artist from the Madrid Church and of course Lin did most of the teaching and helping the youth from both the Madrid Church and also the Toledo Church. We had put out flyers all over Toledo inviting children to come and learn to paint for just 6 euros each. What is so exciting about the work here is to see how the different Churches work together to see the lost won for Christ. We had activities for the children with clowns (from the Toledo Church, face painting, a contest with the best painting. Then we opened a new exhibit with Spanish professional artists on that Thursday, 2 of the 3 are Christians.
Pray for Crystal as she adjusts to Síntesis, learns language, and the culture.

We will be traveling to Budapest and the USA in October on World Missions business.

We are home on furlough and itinerating in South Carolina, after furlough we will be locating in Madrid, Spain. Our furlough was a wonderful busy whirl of activity. It is great to be back home after three months away. We thank the Lord for safety as we traveled across the continent, for good doctor's reports, and for the blessing of seeing so many friends and family members. We thank Him for the many people who love, give, and are praying for Spain.
Prayer request:
Our new cycle of classes will begin the first week in October. New Spanish people are asking about the English classes and I am excited to see who the Lord will bring. This is the fast month for many of the immigrants here so we pray for them and for those who will be in the Spanish classes.
We pray that this term many of our friends will be drawn close to God through our testimony and that He will help us form a team/teams to meet and praise Him and to raise up His body where we live.
We pray for the large number of students around us; that we can also have an effective outreach to them that the Outreach Center will be used to the max. May the Lord give us ideas and strategies and that we'll walk by faith, be sensitive to the needs of our neighbours, and the direction of the Holy Spirit.

Orlando & Blanca Pastors in Madrid

The past Saturday 15 we had a concert with Yuri Ortuño. We were praying, interceding that people would come but we did not know what to expect because tickets were not being sold ahead of time. So we decided to leave it on Gods hands. The attendance was almost 1000 people and about 50 people surrender their lives to Christ! Amen! We saw the hand of the Lord. This helped our leaders to increase their faith and believe, and see the faithfulness of God!

Pray for:

1. Please pray for the G12 conference in Lisbon, Portugal (Lin is one of the speakers) 6-8 of September.

2. Soñarte: "means dare to dream" we are having an evangelistic outreach to children in Toledo by Síntesis. August Prayer Letter . 2007 . First Friday Fast . 3 of August

PRAYER FOCUS. Praying for SW Europe

SW Europe Lin and Nancy Berry Regional Ministry Coordinator for Southwest Europe

On July 5 we opened a new show in Síntesis (the culture center) called “A Dissonant Landscape”. We want to thank you for praying! It went well.

Our objectives for this show were:

To re-open Síntesis and let folks know that we are back in Spain.
To involve the people of our newest church (in Toledo) in evangelism by getting them directly involved in the coffee house/culture center.
To get as many names on our mailing list as possible.
To get as much positive publicity as possible.
To sell paintings (40% of the proceeds goes to finance Síntesis).
To make a prophetic impact in the lives of everyone who came, and to minister as the Lord leads.
To train our SOW worker Crystal Clay to direct the center, freeing us for other ministry.

Lin had 37 paintings in the show. 90 % had a prophetic message attached to them. He made a tract based on the show and it was very effective. You can see some of the paintings and read the tract by going to our blog: http://artawakening.blogspot.com/ , http://arteyavivamiento.blogspot.com/


Three art critics came (one from Madrid) and each gave a very positive review to Lin’s work. Three newspapers came and interviewed him and shot photos of Síntesis. A local TV station came and also did this. Also a number of local artists and other professional gallery owners stopped by. This is great, free publicity.
We had around a dozen people from the Toledo church come and each was involved; making food, talking to people and many invited unsaved neighbors and friends. We believe that the success of Síntesis is directly related to the ability of the local church to get involved with it and follow up on contacts made.
We had around 70 people show up and half of them added their names to our mailing/contact list.
We sold 4 paintings.
One lady was so impressed that she returned 3 times with neighbors and friends. She is not a Christian. The following night, she came and as Lin shared the prophetic message of one of the paintings with her friend, the Holy Spirit moved in a powerful way. The lady was deeply touched and her eyes misted up. Before they left, the 2 ladies allowed Lin to pray with them.
Crystal did an excellent job. Her Spanish is improving greatly and she is well on her way to an exciting, successful ministry in Síntesis.




This past Sunday we had a special meeting in Síntesis for the Church in Toledo. We named Yolanda and Gabriel as the pastors, their elders where named and people signed there names on the role as members. It was a positive meeting.
Pray as we travel and minister this month in Spain. We will be speaking in a youth conference of about 1,000 young people.

Here in Portugal we are doing well in that we (the church) is all legal now and personally our residence permits process is well underway also. The church is doing well also but we need a bigger place and some of our members are really struggling financially and this is severely hindering our progress. I realize God can do the supernatural and this is exactly what we need, a supernatural miracle, so please pray.

Also I’d like add ask a favor from everyone and that is to pray for Zimbabwe. Now I realize that this is a prayer letter for Europe, but many of you know that we were first missionaries to Zimbabwe and we still love the place and its people immensely. These are some prayers requests for our church.
Please pray:

We need permits for evangelism. Although we are not being denied permits,
The authorities are taking too long to reply and some don’t even reply.
Please pray for marriages and other relationships.
It seems that the devil is really working overtime to cause division with couples.
Please pray for our church to have more new Christians added.
We are doing all that we know we should do, including trusting and praying, but still people do not come to the Lord.
Please pray for our finances. Our evangelism programs are taking lots of our income and putting strain on other important departments.
Please pray that the Lord will continue to manifest Himself in our midst as He has been doing for many months.
We really wish that we do not loose this great vision
Please pray for our young people to remain in the Lord.

July 5 at 7:30 pm we are having a special showing in Síntesis (the culture centre). So please Pray! We will be inviting people who we have made contact with in the other shows that we have had. This is a way to meet people so that later we can invite them to an activity of the church. People here will never come to an activity of the church unless they know you and you have earned the right to speak of spiritual things into their lives.

We have finally updated the web site of the Síntesis Gallery and Culture Centre in Toledo, Spain. If you click on “artists” and “see Lin’s work” you will find a collection of @20 of my newest paintings that will be in our new show opening on Thursday 5 of July. The show is titled “A Dissonant Landscape” and has a number of semi-abstract landscapes in view. There are 5-6 that have a prophetic message woven into the design.

Praise reports:

We want to thank you all for your prayers during this last term in Granada, Spain. We are now on furlough and closed this cycle of studies at Project Advance the night before we left for the States. The students expressed their gratitude in many ways and are looking forward to continuing the language classes when we return in September, Lord willing.

In our final English class with Spanish students we joined together in a circle and prayed together, thanking the Lord for His help and praying for each one and their plans for the summer. With tears and hugs we embraced. Gary and I thank the Lord for this open door into the lives of these beautiful people.

Another highlight was when one of our Palestinian students came by to say good-bye. He was getting ready to leave for the summer and hopes to return this fall with his family. He, along with some other Palestinian friends, saw the Passion of Christ with us at Easter and also invited us for a delicious traditional meal. He expressed his love and appreciation to us for being "family" to him and Gary was able to take him to the airport and have a coffee there with him while he waited for his airplane. These things might seem small but they fill us with joy as we know that they are a blessing and comfort to our friends. We had a prayer with him before he left and talked about spiritual things.

Prayer requests:

For continued direction in the work in Granada, Spain.
That the seeds that have been planted will bring forth fruit.
Anointing as we minister to friends, family and the churches here in the States.

Crystal Clay in Spain

Praise Report: After over two months of waiting, I am in my apartment in Toledo! It is a complete blessing by God for me. The location couldn't be better, and I have a special bonus room above the apartment that has the best view of the city. God is so good!

Encounters
I attended two weekend retreats this month called "encounters" with two different groups of women. Encounters are designed to provide an opportunity for each person to have a personal encounter with God, and I truly did. One thing that God showed me was how I feel I have to be perfect all of the time because I have fear that God and other people won't love me if I don't do everything exactly right. I have always struggled with perfectionism, but I believe that God set me free from that fear during the encounter last weekend. It is wonderful to give myself room to make mistakes!


Prayer Request: During July I will be taking a Spanish class at the University here in Toledo. It meets every day from 9:00 to 1:30, so it is kind of intense. Please pray that I will be able to quickly grasp more of the language and that my Spanish abilities will grow by leaps and bounds this month.

Pray for Portugal : Tony and Patti Guasco

We here in Cascais, Portugal are doing well and the Lord is blessing His work. We have been waiting now for a financial blessing that will in able us to find a bigger place and it seems just literally days away. We ask that this come to pass soon “as the Lord wills”. Also the legalization / registering of the church is 95% complete and we will soon be an officially recognized church in Portugal. This is very valuable to us in so many ways, for 1 will now be able to have more missionaries come to Portugal to help us with the work here. Also we have a team from NJ that is coming in on the 14-15th of July to do evangelism with us.


On a personal note we are now illegible to get a 2 yr residence permit, where as before we just had an extended visa for 1 yr periods of time. Going thru the process is not a big deal but not that we will have residency we have a bit more rights and we will be considered more than just tourists. We are in the middle of this process right now and we should know the verdict within weeks.

Alisa (our oldest daughter) is going into her last semester of bible school and she literally has no money for tuition –so we are asking for prayer for this. After graduation at the end of this year she will then transfer over to an liberal arts college to finish her degree in either history or English literature. She thinks that in someway the Lord might use her on the mission field in Europe somewhere as self supported missionary.

Please pray:

We need permits for evangelism. Although we are not being denied permits, the authorities are taking too long to reply and some don’t even reply.
Please pray for marriages and other relationships. It seems that the devil is really working overtime to cause division with couples.
Please pray for our church to have more new Christians added. We are doing all that we know we should do, including trusting and praying, but still people do not come to the Lord.
Please pray for our finances. Our evangelism programs are taking lots of our income and putting strain on other important departments.
Please pray that the Lord will continue to manifest Himself in our midst as He has been doing for many months. We really wish that we do not loose this great vision
Please pray for our young people to remain in the Lord.

Hi, everyone!

Thank you for your prayers as I am getting settled into life and ministry here in Spain. God has been stretching me by giving me opportunities to lead worship, something I never thought I would do! Greetings from Spain!
It's hard to believe that I have already been here two weeks. I am settling into life here and learning the ways and culture of the people. Thank you for your prayers this month. I have really sensed the grace of God on my life during this period of transition.

Learning Spanish
Pray for: I'm having difficulty with Spanish. There's just so much to learn! So please pray that I'll have more discernment and pray as I continue to study and learn by immersion.

Apartment
Pray for my apartment in Toledo. There's been a delay in getting the key to see it, so please pray that I will be able to look at it soon. There are also several other options for apartments that we are considering.

Conference
Pray for: The annual conference for the eleven Spanish churches is this weekend. Dr. Beacham, the director of World Missions Ministries, will be presiding. It will be fun to meet all the pastors and people from the other churches throughout Spain. I will meet some other missionaries at the conference, too. I am looking forward to making new contacts and friends!

Praise the Lord for His faithfulness.

Easter week was a special time with our immigrant friends, several Palestinians ate and watched the Passion of Christ with us. Easter Sunday, after church, Gary and I went on a picnic with Syrian friends where one of them read the Easter story from the NT in Arabic and we all sang some choruses with the guitar and prayed. It was a beautiful day.

Prayer requests:
A Jordanian and also a Syrian Christian friend/student who are having a lot of struggles here in Granada.

The students in this cycle of classes at the outreach center.
We've got some great students who are becoming good friends. This past week, one student from Turkey (who's been in Granada about 3 weeks), said that she had no one here in Granada. That we (those at the center) are her family and she has felt our love. Some of these immigrants are very lonely and our hearts go out to them.

We plan to go on furlough this summer. It will be very hard to leave our friends and we hope we can visit those we need to visit in the States and return to our work quickly.

Our prayer requests for this month are the following:

The Lord is expanding our vision for the church and we are doing some re-structuring in a number of things. Please pray that the members will corporate and understand the vision the Lord gave me for His church.

I am training a small group of people principles of leadership to help understand how the church should work and have order. Please pray that the Holy Spirit will help them in their studies. It is two hour credit course spread on 12 classes not including the readings.

From those attending future leaders for the church will be chosen. In particular there are two young people that Lord called publicly to serve in the ministry. Please pray that they will also find the support from other members.
Please pray that this course will help the people how they can help me and Christine (the pastors) fulfill God’s vision for Word of Life PH Church.

Please pray for the marriages. They are always under constant attack.

Pray for new Christians. It has become a phenomenon that new Christians leave the church after few weeks they begin. There is something we may be doing wrong or simply they cannot handle the New Life in Christ. Please pray that the Lord will reveal what the problem is.

Please pray that our evangelistic efforts will bear the fruit of saved souls.

Pray for our family especially the children to keep growing in the Lord especially in difficult times.

Pray for the young people in the church to remain faithful to the Lord Jesus Christ and serve him diligently.

Please pray for a girl of nine years. She was perfectly well and healthy, but suddenly she could not walk anymore. Doctors do not know what is wrong.

· We are having outreaches every month. We are being well prepared; spiritually and technically, but people do not want to listen.
Please pray for the completion of the translation of DVD into Maltese. It is called Messages from Heaven. It is an evangelistic DVD exposing the deception of the apparitions of Mary. It also included testimonies about salvation at the end. The producers gave us permission to dub it into the Maltese language and have Maltese subtitles.
· Our prayer is that it will be an effective tool to open the closed eyes of Mary worshipers in Malta.

Pray for the radio stations that broadcast her stories and for her workshops that she gives.
She Writes:
The church in Cergy Pontoise is Pastored by Marc and Annemarie LeBrun. He has a huge building, 6000 square meters, with a congregation of about 75 to 100 people. He has a publishing company and plans for a Christian television station. He certainly has the room for it. He also has a Bible school in Tahiti, and a work in Reunion Island, plus ten satellite churches in France. He is happy to join IPHC as in the States he has friends who are members and he ministers at their churches, so he is already acquainted with IPHC and admires it.
Pray that if it is Gods will that we can make connections with them.

Treffpunkt Coffee House activities will be in full swing effective April 13th. Please pray for this new outreach ministry. Our goal is to mobilize our singles and youth for ministry during our weekend evening evangelistic outreaches. And of course, our main goal - to see souls saved through the various outreaches - dramas, concerts, movies, debates, etc.
Since we are located right next to a local school, Peter Kressin, our German national pastor, plans to open the Coffee House a couple afternoons a week for the school kids.
What a blessing the new building is to us! Thanks for your prayers that have made that a reality.


We are still having Wednesday night meetings with the group in Buch. After months of searching and waiting, last week we were given the green light to use two rooms in a Buch city owned building. We may use the facilities on a "donation" basis, but they have requested we participate/volunteer one afternoon a month with their Community Centre program. We hope that we will be able to build relationships as we help them, and that while we are there, we will also make new contacts/friends whom we can invite to our Wednesday night outreach. We plan to provide an "Alpha Course" atmosphere/format, but we hope to use the material from Rick Warren's "40 Days of Purpose." Please pray that many will accept Jesus Christ and commit to the purpose He has for their lives!

Dear intercessors and friends:

My 97 year old grandmother who was in a coma went home to be with the Lord. She was surrounded by her family. She was living with her son and her two daughters went over every day to help take care of her. My mother who is almost 80 years old was faithful to her and took very good care of her. I was with my mother during this time. My grandmother Ruth Echols Wright (I’m named after my grandmother); was buried on Wed. at London Bridge Baptist Church.
I’m just thankful that I was with my mother. Everyone is at peace with her passing I guess it’s because we all trust the Lord and He gives us special grace at this time. She lived such a long rich life; she was 97 years young. She lived by herself until she was 96. She loved her grandchildren, great-grand children and her great-great grand-children. The hard part is saying goodbye but we are thankful for her full rich life. Thank the Lord for a Christian family. I’m grateful that we were her in the US. Remember the family in your prayers.

§ We are having lots of difficulties to get permits and I am wasting a lot of time on the phone and don’t get anywhere.
3. Please pray for marriages in the church as they are being attacked severely
4. Please pray for protection against evil influences
§ A particular person who was confronted because of immorality left the church years ago, but we found out that he is poising people against the leadership of the church and is also in the occult. Lately he launched a campaign against our church and many of feel that it feels like are under a satanic attack.
5. Please pray for the other ministries of the church for protection.
6. Please Praise the Lord all other success we are having. We have three new people attending the church.
7. Praise the Lord for the People to People Ministries. Last year we raised $2000 from the fellowship meals.
8. Please pray for French Jew I led to the Lord in Israel last month. His name is Didier B., and for another Jew called Adi who is very open to the gospel.
§ Please pray that the Lord opens for me a way for me to go more often to Israel as I do feel I have a calling. I already went twice and the Lord used me to preach the gospel to a number of Jews.

February 2007 WIN Prayer Requests from Berlin
Yahoo! This Sunday, February 4, we will celebrate our first service in the Treffpunkt! Phase II (of 4) is complete. It will be wonderful being in our own facility! While using the Sport Center, we have often felt the need to really pray through the building because of other activities that had taken place in there during the week. Also, it will be nice not having to build everything up and tear everything down each week.
With our own facility, our ministry opportunities are so much greater!
As a church, our Verse for 2007 is out of Isaiah 43:19 - "See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland."
Please pray for a new great outpouring and anointing of the Holy Spirit on the church in Berlin! Pray that we will all have a renewed and stronger than ever passion to win the lost, to make disciples and to teach leadership to maturing Christians.

In December, Jeannie was involved in a car accident which totaled our van. The police at the scene sited the "other" driver who hit our van. The other driver and her insurance company are appealing this and want Jeannie to be sited "partially at fault." The Police have told us that they can't see how they could win, but it still causes things to go through a new "process." So, we have not yet been compensated for our van and we are beginning to receive medical bills for the medical expenses incurred as a result of the accident. Please pray that this will be solved swiftly and fairly.

The Lord has opened a door for us to come to California for the month of February. We were invited by the pastor of a Team that came to Berlin last spring; Pastor Ariel Velez of Abundant Life Fellowship in Hayward, CA. He is part of the Pacific West Conference. We have ministered in his church as of last Sunday and will do so again tonight. He has arranged for us to share our ministry in several congregations in the San Francisco Bay area, and we are grateful to the Lord for this open door. The Lord has continued to be gracious to us during this furlough period. Please continue to pray that we will be able to return to Berlin this spring. Thanks, and the Lord bless you!
