Pray for France: Pray for Marty Delmon a missionary in France.

Hello Prayer Warriors: Please lay claim in the heavenlies for the perfect place for me to live in Paris. I know we prayed for that at the retreat but now I have some more specifics: central Paris, I want a roommate, good heat, safe neighborhood for walking at night (don't worry about me -- nothing past midnight), room for overnight guests. already furnished, quiet for writing, good light, view (no staring at blank walls out the window) and less than what I pay now! Nothing is impossible with God!
As always, speak HARVEST over my writings, all of them.
Much love and appreciation to you all! Marty

Pray for Paris:

- revival in France and progress of our church. - for the work on the building.

Pray for Mark & Jeannie McClung

Praise Reports:
THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME!! After wall-papering and painting cement walls and installing kitchen cabinets and light fixtures, we officially moved into our apartment on October 24th.

Today, 11/3/2009 our telephone and internet were installed! We feel connected again!

  • Jack is doing well in the German school. He had forgotten a lot of German but the school director has decided to keep him in his all German school rather than to send him to an integrations school. We are so thankful for this!
  • We had our first snow on October 15th and it was real cold because we still had not received our winter clothes/belongings that we shipped. They arrived on the 27th. YAY!
  • DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING SCHOOL - On October 3rd, we helped to welcome 70 students to the YWAM Fall Discipleship Training School. It is fun getting to know these kids and hear what God is doing in their lives right now. The students are in classes each morning and have begun to form teams in preparation for their Germany evangelism outreaches. In January they will leave for their three month outreach assignments.
  • TREFFPUNKT CHURCH IN BERLIN: WOW!!! God is good! We recently had the opportunity to worship together with Pastor Peter and Beate and our Berlin church family. It was awesome to worship with our brothers and sisters and to think back that 10 years ago we were much in prayer and planning for this church plant. Praise God the church is self supported, has a German national pastor, and God has blessed them with a wonderful building and although renovation is not totally finished yet....it will be and God is going to do great things in Berlin!

Prayer Request:
Now that we are settled in our own place, please pray for us as we take on new roles and see Jesus do new things.
As usual, we will be praying for specific direction for the new year.
Thanks for being a part of this adventure through your love and prayers!

October Prayer Letter 09

Praying for SW Europe: October Prayer Letter 2009

2 of October, First Friday Fast

By Rev. Nancy Berry iWIN Director

Pray for our overseers to all of Europe and the Middle East: Bob and Carol Cave

Greetings to all. It is getting close to our Missionary Retreat in Turkey and we are getting excited to see each one that is coming. Please come expecting a refreshing in your life, that God will speak through any one of us to each other. This next 4 years will be a great time in Mission wherever the Lord has placed you because Jesus declares to us in Matt. 28:19 to "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit"  When I see your lives, I think, thank the Lord for your obedience......and thank the Lord that Jesus said in John 6:40 " this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day."

You are in the right place to bring the message of hope to your Nation and I thank you for your faithfulness. Carol and I look forward to seeing you soon

One other prayer request is about resident Visas for our missionaries. Pray for divine favor for the Criggers as they try to comply with new regulations. Pray also for the Ruiz family that the Lord opens a door into Macedonia for them through a couple of lawyers we have contacted.

Blessings to all...............Bob & Carol

Gary & Kathy en Granada

Praise report:
1. New immigrant and Spanish students who are enrolled in the outreach center.
2. Gary and I both passed to the second level of Arabic studies and continue to make new friends at the 6 hours a week course.
Prayer report:
1. Opportunities for the activities at the outreach center to grow (volunteers) but some of these people aren't believers. One, a doctoral student in literature, who is also a neighbor and taking classes at the center, offered to direct an activity for children to encourage them to have a love for reading. She just received a governmental recognition and prize in Mexico for the kid's reading clubs she held in her city. She wants to offer reading activities in the center once or twice a month. I explained to her that this center is funded by people who love God and want to share His love with others. She said that people had already told her this and, although she wasn't a believer, she would respect our purposes. I asked if she would be willing to pray with me before the classes and she said she would. Pray with us that she can come to know the Lord.
(I think that one very religious Arab friend would like to give Arabic classes in the center but, since her religion is so enlaced with all she does and says, I don't feel a freedom to do this and would appreciate your prayers. These type of situations are challenging and I pray that if she does ask me, the Lord will give me the words to talk to her more about the purposes of the center and the Lord. I have shared the Gospel with her.)
2. Also, an elderly Spanish neighbor, who does beautiful artwork in wood, has donated a clock and picture to the center. He has a lot of woodwork crafts that he made and said he would bring things to the center one Saturday for an "exposition" so that the neighbors can see them. This can encourage the older neighbors to learn new things and also let people in the community know what he is doing. His wife is our 74 year old "Beginning English" student. They are "jewels" and love God in their traditional way. We pray for their salvation.
3. That our immigrant friends who do not believe in Jesus' sacrifice and our traditional Spanish friends who hold tight to idolatry will come to know the truth in God's word and be willing to meet to study His Word. One immigrant friend recently told me he would like to read the NT.
4. This cycle of studies began today and we have students from Poland, Peru, Algeria, Morocco, Spain, Mexico, Palestine, and Costa Rica. Please pray with us for the Lord to guide us in sharing the Gospel with all of them.
5. For guidance and anointing in directing the praise and worship at our mission's retreat.
6. Our son, Daniel, who is in Afghanistan.
Thank you, Gary and Kathy

Pray for Portugal:  Tony & Patti:

·         Please pray for Ines, new believer in Portugal who came to the Lord not long before we left for furlough.  Her step-father died unexpectedly and the family needs prayer.  The praise report on this is that she has told us that she doesn't know how they would have handled this tragedy without the Lord and how thankful that they met us.  My heart breaks for them but they have been growing in their faith through it all.  Thank you for your prayers for them.

·         Also pray as we move to the South Carolina Conference to finish raising support.  We have reached about 40% of our goal in the last three months and we hope to raise the rest by spring.  Thanks again for your prayer support!!!

……………………

Please Pray for Pastor Joseph Agius and the work in Malta:

Pray for:

1.    Church members keep Jesus as Lord throughout their life.

2.    Young people including my own children to walk in the way of the Lord and will not be lured by the world.

3.    Our evangelistic programs will bring souls into the Kingdom.

4.    Our leaders will be faithful to their pastors and their church

5.    Pray for more workers

6.    More people attend the Now Feed Children Program which supports People to People

Pray for France: Pray for Marty Delmon a missionary in France.

I'm back in France having arrived in Nice on Thursday and then did a workshop for Uprooting Buried Lies in Opio near Cannes.  I also spoke at a women's group in Valbonne, also near Cannes, on Monday.  Then I drove to my little nest, my writer's hideaway in Baillargues.
I am spending the next six months in a sort of isolation as I rapidly (please pray) write five more books in my "Destined For..." series.  The first two books came out this summer, "Destined For Success" and "Destined For Healing" (see my blog at www.martydelmon.com) and sold very well.  I've had two testimonies of people being healed while simply reading the book, which thrills me.  I also want to write an entire year's worth of radio stories because I am intensely praying about my forthcoming move to Paris in the spring.  (More prayer!)  It is time for Paris to once again have an IPHC coffee shop, an IPHC English speaking church and I want to be closer to the radio work and potentially the television work and that points to Paris.  However, I want all that prayed out before I get there.  Please pray!

In His service and yours,  Marty

      Pray for Peter and Beate

Dear Brothers & Sisters; Greetings and blessings from Berlin:  The Church in Berlin is doing very well!  Praise God  But please keep on praying that the blessing will go on. We need still more of Jesus!  Please pray for the new members.  Please pray that the seeds planted will grow into a harvest.  We need  wisdom to go on with the building.  The rooms we are using now are too small.  Maybe we have to use a tent for a year.  Please pray for us and also for the finances we need to fix the building.  It’s up to 400.000 EUR needed! So it is a big challenge.

Thank you for staying together with us. With much Love;  Peter und Beate

Pray for Mark & Jeannie McClung

In October, most German churches celebrate a special Sunday called "Ernte Dank."  The English translation is "Harvest Thanksgiving". This tradition goes back hundreds of years as believers decorated their church altars with all kinds of harvest fruits - apples, pumpkins, sheaves of grains, tomatoes, potatoes, etc. in a show of thanks to God for the bountiful harvest.
In this season of thanksgiving, Jeannie and I would like to thank God for giving us a good start in Germany.  We have found a small apartment about a mile from the YWAM Center.  Apartments in Germany look a lot different than American apartments.  No light fixtures, no kitchen appliances, no cabinets, no sink -  just bare cement walls with pipes and wires sticking out.  Right now we are putting on wall paper and painting walls. Oct 25th is our move in date so a lot needs to be done in the next few weeks.  Also, we have found a good used car - a 2002 Hyundai with a diesel engine.  Diesel fuel is a little cheaper here but we still pay around $6.00 a gallon.  No more complaints on American gas prices!  The fall YWAM Disciple Training School begins on Oct 3rd with 70 students attending.  Keep these young people in your prayers as they prepare for their missionary outreach.  Our son, Jack, has been in German school two days now.  He really likes it although it is a big adjustment getting back into the German language.      We are thankful for a good start here in Germany and also thankful for our many good friends who partner with us in the Great Commission.      Mark & Jeannie McClung

" Greetings to all. It has been a pretty busy summer for everyone of you that we met in August. It was great hearing your hearts and knowing in spite of some difficulties, Christ has directed your paths. What a great tool this "cyberspace" prayer network has provided. Thanks Nancy for keeping us connected and up to date with the prayer needs. It is great to know that there is a Network of prayer going up on behalf of your needs.

As we face this fall season, it is our prayer that the Lord will give you strength, wisdom, strategies and that you will walk in the presence of the Lord. There are some tremendous open doors at this time and you are right there to go through them as the Lord leads.

Carol and I look forward to seeing most of you at the Missionary Retreat in Turkey in October. Blessings ........Bob & Carol

From the McClungs:  Dear Brothers and Sisters - How awesome it is to know friends who will pray for our needs!  We serve an awesome God!
This new month brings much change for us.  We are so happy that we will return to Germany on September 15th.  Currently we are in Oklahoma visiting our daughters, their husbands and our two new granddaughters.  We are very thankful for modern technology and are setting up skype dates so we can see them grow up a little bit even when we are on the field.
We have sold our truck, we are packed and ready to go.  We are excited for future.  The opportunities are wide open and we are asking God to guide, direct and bless our efforts with success for the Kingdom.  We are excited to be involved in youth discipleship training and evangelism.  We are also excited about planting churches and do pray that churches will be planted not only in Germany but the work will expand into Poland and the Czech Republic.
Our prayer requests are as follows:
Please pray we can sell our car - 2007 Hyundai before we leave.
Please pray we can find affordable housing and a dependable vehicle within our budget
Pray for Jack as he returns to German school.  Pray they know exactly which class to place him, etc.  We are trusting his German is stored up there in his little brain and that he will  have little problem with the language.     Pray that he will find favor with his teachers and classmates and that he will make friends quickly.
Pray for Philip as he stays in NC attending university.

Praise the Lord for the very nice visit to the States. We had a surprise visit from our Son and his family. We got to see our Grandson Daniel. Thank you for praying.

We were able to visit some of the churches in hopes of raising our account up some. Lin had an art show and we were able to make contacts with people and he was able to share Christ with some of them. We were able to go to General Conference and that was a blessing to us to see ones we have not seen for a long time.

Thank you all for praying for Sarah, she is doing better from her Malaria; she is in the Congo Africa with her work.

We have to get back to Spain we have 2 very important events to attend.

Pray for Paris: Pray for Marc & Annemarie Lebrun in Paris, France; Christ Light of the Nations Ministries: http://www.clnm.org

Prayer requests: Dear brothers and sisters, pray for souls. We go and evangelize in the streets each Saturday. For the moment, 3 persons have given their hearts to the Lord. Our goal is to reach souls!!! For the building, the authorization. Again we have received a refusal. We appeal against it. Pray for this whole situation. Thank you for standing in prayer. Blessings, Pascale Sauvage, CLN Paris.

Pray for Lin´s travel to Paris and the ministry time to the Church.

Pray for Germany: Pray for Peter and Beate

Dear Brothers & Sisters; Greetings and blessings from Berlin:

The Church in Berlin is doing very well! Praise God

But please keep on praying that the blessing will go on. We need still more of Jesus!

Another two Families ask for membership in our Church.

That means 10 people more is like 15% church growing. Please pray for the new members.

Last month we had a festival in our village. We offered a Bible Exhibition and our Ranger tribe

makes a lot of activity outside. Many people join us this weekend, and we had a lot of good talking with non believers.

Please pray that the seed is well planted and grows up to harvest.

Pray for Mark & Jeannie McClung as they prepare to return back to Germany

Dear Friends:
UPDATE:
We have good news to report! World Missions Ministries has approved our return to Germany. We will leave on September 15th. After a full year of itineration, we are eager to get started with our new assignment - working with "Youth with a Mission" in Herrnhut and planting new IPHC churches in Germany.
Thank you for standing with us in prayer and financial support over the last year allowing our account to build and enabling us go. World Missions has made an exception to release us when we still have 30% of our budget to raise in monthly faith commitments. We will try to raise these funds while on the field. We are all stepping out in faith, believing these funds will come in within the next few months. God has been faithful over the years to supply all our needs.

PLEASE PRAY THAT:
1) All things go smoothly as we prepare for the move.
2) Pray we can sell our vehicles - 2007 Toyota pick-up truck and a 2007 Hyundai Elantra.
3) Pray for Jeannie as she finishes her job at the bank. Her last day is August 21st.
4) Pray for Philip has he begins his freshmen year at the University of North Carolina (Greensboro).
5) Pray for Jack - he has been brushing up on his German language skills - he will begin 2nd grade in the German schools. Pray that all he learned as a young child is stored in there somewhere and that it will all come back easily to him.

We are trusting the Lord to make this term our most productive years of ministry. Jesus is coming soon, and we must "labor while it is yet day, for the night cometh, when no man can labor." Thank you for partnering with us in this great end time harvest. God's grace and peace be with you all.

Mark McClung
