Missionary retreat in Turkey in Oct. 2011

World Intercessors Network

Prayer Letter for November 2011

First Friday Fast 4 of November 2011

Lin & Nancy Berry missionaries in Spain and Regional Director for SW Europe

REASONS TO GIVE THANKS:

1. God provided for Nancy to go to the WIN Retreat... we all need to come aside for a time of refreshing, rest, fellowship with God and encouragement.

2. For Lin and the church... there is much excitement, God’s presence, His anointing in the service with the preaching of God’s word and for the plans and purpose for the future

3. Time in the USA with my family, seeing my mom, my sister, mother in law, and I will see my daughter and granddaughter this weekend.... thank you Lord (do remember Lin in Spain, we will be apart for a few months)

4. A wonderful time in France ministering to the wonderful ladies of the church... thank you for your prayers GOD DID ANSWER with His touch, His healings and setting free from strongholds

5. For Lin’s time in Germany

6. For economic provision in our missionary account. Someone has deposited in our account a sum of money... it is in the red so every bit helps... thank you Lord...

7. I will be able to spend thanksgiving with my family... so many times we are so involved with ministry that our families are neglected and forgotten; they also need to know the love and compassion of our Lord Jesus Christ that we spend our whole lives preaching about to others but yet they don’t experience that love because we don’t take some of our time with them too...........

Do pray that we will be able to raise our support back to where it should be. I will be here in the USA until February 21. I would love to come and minister to the ladies or youth group on any day of the week, I was set free from so many fears; I help others to be set free from and see their full potential or I could share in the church on Sunday all that God has been doing in us and through us in Europe. God can use anyone who says yes to God. Lin will be arriving in Late December and we would love to come and share what God has done, thank you for your prayer and financial support and minister to the people.

Thank you so much for praying for the Berry Family

Please pray for Pastor Joe and Christine Agius in Malta:

1. The unity of the brethren to increase.

The World Missions family and friends are saddened about the death of Rev. David Fannin. He and Linda, along with Bob Cave and Larry and Deborah Mininger had been ministering at Dawn of Life Church in Khmelnitsky, Ukraine.

Just the week before his death David and Linda Fannin along with most of our missionary family enjoyed a missionary retreat in Turkey.

We will miss him so much... Please Remember Linda And The Family

Gary & Kathy in Spain

Praise Reports and Prayer Requests:

1.The Lord continues to give us new students at the outreach center. Some are studying at the university just up the road. We have students from Portugal, Algeria, Morocco, Hebron, Ramalla and of course, Spain. We are excited about each one and hope that they will come to know the Lord. One is the representative for the Palestinian people here in our town. Another is the 4 year old grandson of the greatly loved priest who labored in this community for 30 years (his mother is also a student). It's taking a long time, but every day now it seems like we are able to meet and get closer to people in our neighborhood.

2. Doors continue to open to minister to our neighbors, reading the Word and praying with them and we pray that one day we'll be able to start a church here. Please remember us in your prayers so that we'll be obedient and sensitive to the Holy Spirit here in Granada and so that their hearts will be open to Him.

3. For the Shireys as they prepare to come here. That their visas will be approved and that all will happen according to His timetable.

Thank you!!

From Mark & Jeannie McClung - Missionaries to Germany

Praise God! Good things are happening! Our son, Jack, followed the Lord in water baptism this past Sunday.

The Berlin church has been blessed and encouraged this week through the ministry of Linwood Berry (Regional Director). Our Continental Director, Bob Cave, will be ministering later this week and we are sure the Lord will move again in these meetings! Peter Kressin is doing an awesome job as pastor. The church has been challenged in the area of evangelism and winning the lost ~ Pray for a mighty harvest of souls!

We are working on having the DCPI Church Planters International training manuals/materials traslated from English into German. Mark has completed the training and is a certified trainer. We have tentatively planned our first Berlin Church Planting Training Seminar for March.

  • Please pray for Justine as she translates the DCPI Materials from English into German. This is a big task and she is doing a great job!
  • Even though November and December are typically not good months for raising missionary support, please pray for an exception! Pray for favor and that we continue to have opportunities to share about the work in Germany. Pray that God will raise up new supporters us so we can return SOON! Goal: January. Urgency: Ministry & for Jack's schooling - to be there by 2nd semester.
  • Pray for the 4 couples we have talked with regarding new church plants in Berlin. May the Lord's will be clear and done!

Thank you so much for your prayers! They are powerful and we are grateful! Mark & Jeannie

FOR Matt & Femke in Amsterdam:
Please pray for Femke's pregnancy as she has been quite nauseous for a long time. Pray for our church as we continue to reach out to our community through the Kid's club, Celebrate
Recovery and the Alpha Course. Pray for workers for the harvest to be multiplied. We need God's wisdom and power to see breakthrough take place in the lives of the individuals he is giving us here in Amsterdam. As the winter draws near, I am already seeing more signs of stress and burn out in individuals. On another personal note, could you pray for my 16 year old nephew
Joel. He sits now in teen challenge and needs some healing in his heart and life. Thanks to everyone for your prayer support.

Praise report:
Mom's visit was great! (Charlene West) She ministered in some of the IPHC churches here and also to our neighbors. We've started a new cycle of classes at the outreach center and also Arabic
classes. I (Kathy) have a great teacher! We thank the Lord for a wonderful time of ministry and fellowship with the other IPHC churches during the annual Spanish conference. We thank Him for our leaders, pastors, the speakers who were with us - everything was a blessing.
Prayer request:
That the Lord will open the hearts of the people here to receive His Word and be hungry to study it. That He will give us His wisdom and anointing to reach them. That a ladies’ Bible study I'm announcing will have a positive response. That students at the ministry center and in our classes will be drawn to Christ and that we will be sensitive to what the Lord is doing. That the inscription for the classes will cover the rent of the ministry center. This is the goal but it isn't happening yet. We pray for funds for the Muslim ministry outreach account to help continue using the office space that we're renting.
Thank you so much for your prayers. God bless you, Gary and Kathy

Matthew Helland in Amsterdam
Dear Intercessors,
First of all I want to express a praise report. 2 Weeks ago we did our first official 3 days of fasting as a church in Amsterdam. Every evening we had prayer at our house. That weekend we experienced several spiritual breakthroughs in individuals lives. Prayer and fasting is great, it does bring results. Now we have begun a busy church program with kid''s club, Alpha
course, Celebrate Recovery, etc. In the midst of this I am seeing divine contacts come about. For example, 2 days ago I met a Christian Turkish woman looking for a church and a Spanish family also looking for a church. These kinds of coincidences are things I see as Gods hand at work. Thanks for praying for us.
This weekend I am going with the men of our church on a retreat. Could you pray for these men: Bruno, Pravin, Matt, Rene, Klaas, Matthijs, Martin, Bram. Bill Schwarts, IPHC missionary from Belgium will be the speaker. Will you agree with me that we will truly have a divine encounter with God and with each other throughout the weekend. May each man be strengthened and brought closer to walking in their destiny. May any strongholds in our lives be removed that want to impede us as men from being the kinds, priests and prophets of our homes and church. Thanks again for your prayers.
Sincerely,
Matthew Helland

Pray for Ginger Simmons in London I trust this finds all well with you! I am so thankful for
God's healing hand and quick recovery. I will be going back to the surgeon on 4 October and anticipate a wonderful report. I thank you for your continued prayers for my family as
we process through the grief and move forward with God's divine will for our lives.
God bless you as you continue serving our King!
Shalom Ya'll, Ginger Simmons

Pray for Dave and Linda in Eastern Europe
The Coffee House Outreach is doing wonderful! It is going beyond our expectations! This summer we had the privilege of having Timothy Meadors with us to help us in the English Conversation Club program. It was and still is a huge success. Timothy and Krisztina were able to go to the school next door to introduce the program. We had favor from the teachers and many of the students. We have had bbq's and creative ways to reach these young people by various activities such as movie nights, picnics by the Danube and in a few evenings we had special singing and barbecue and the kids brought some of their parents with them. We now have it every Sat. afternoon since the kids are back in school. The coffee house is a great evangelism tool to reach the community.
Linda has just finished her course work at ORU and is in the writing phase of the dissertation. Please continue to pray that she (me) makes it through the whole program with sanity intact! We have had opportunities to share Christ with so many this past month. Dave's cousins came from Austin to visit.
Will you please remember William and Sharon Hudson in your prayers that God will save them. They have retired from AMOCO Oil and have lived all over the world. They have everything except Jesus.
I have a very important prayer request:
This request is in from my daughter-in-law Sheryl: "We would appreciate so much your prayers for our Darian. As many of you know he was diagnosed with having genetic epilepsy in
March 2010 at the age of 10. Since then it has been an ongoing battle with trying to find the right meds/dosage to help stop his seizures. Darian is having partial seizures again and I just took him in to have blood work done this morning to determine his medication levels so that his Neurologist can come up with a plan of action (again) for him. Our prayer is that Darian's
seizures can be controlled so that he can have a great first year in middle school, without any interruptions in learning due to the memory loss that accompanies each episode. Thank you for your prayer support and for believing with us! Thanks to all who work beside us in your
different fields of service. May God bless you all and give you strength this day! Dave and Linda

Pray for David, Valbona, Christopher and Kimberley Pennoyer in Albania
- Pray for Abigail (our children’s teacher) and her husband. They have returned to America to assist in disaster relief with his mother. Please pray for them and also for another teacher to come and help with our children.
- We want to thank God for the great miracle He did over the summer in providing for the Seafarers and United Youth for Christ. We have just about reached our goal of just over $103,000 but still need about $5,000. Pray that God would supply the rest and for our
regular ministry expenses.
- Pray that the right person will come along who can help us finish our web page.
- Give thanks to God for the health of the church. We are sensing something big is happening and many are excited. Please continue to pray that more people would realize their function in their church.
- Pray for our Children’s Bible School that we will fill all the spots with the right children. We have room for 50 more. Pray for a missionary/teacher to come & help.
- Pray for Elona our missionary. Pray for encouragement, strength and protection.
- Continue to pray for the finances, for my health and for our family.
(I just got back from 3 days of fasting and prayer and got a report from the doctor that the
sarcoidosis has flared up again. I need your prayers…David)

Bob & Carol over Europe:
Greetings to all: Carol and I are truly amazed each day how the Lord is about His Ministry worldwide. I thank Him for the responsibilities He gives us and so many times when we're over our heads, He pulls us through. Our prayers are with each of you and I can't help but feel some of the struggles you encounter, especially when it comes to raising funds for your own support account. Is this a test or what? How many times in the last 25 years have I sweated it and then watched as the Lord said, you didn't need to sweat it, just trust me. We are still praying for you in this challenge. A prayer that would include an outpouring of God's abundance and tapping into God's economy. Please also pray as we all get informed on some new Church Planting ideas that will be introduced at the Missionary Retreat. I feel quite confident that we will reach some amazing Church Planting goals in the next 5-10 years. Blessings to
all......Bob & Carol

Prayer for Marty Delmon missionary in France
I've sent out three installments called "I Saw Africa".  These, I hope, are only the beginning and by the time I finish writing I will have visited all parts of Africa.  The prayer I ask for is that the three parts will be read by those whom the Lord wants to touch about helping Africa in specific and concrete ways.
Pray against the Human Trafficking I saw in Africa and believe with me for the total destruction of that place of business.
My book "Buried Lies" is in French and will be out mid-September.  Please rebuke the devil with me that he not touch this book and not impede its progress of distribution, and pray that the book touches the hearts of millions of French and they, upon reading it, will re-dedicate themselves to the Lord for their healing and for their service to Him.
Both of these prayer requests are tag ends of great blessings for me.  I had six weeks in Africa, completely paid for, and so full I couldn't have added one other thing to the agenda.  My friend, Anne-Marie Laidet, a refined and highly educated French woman, translated "Buried Lies" for free!  Now she is going to be my mouthpiece, going to the interviews the publisher has lined up for me, like radio stations, newspapers, etc.
Glory to God! Marty

Hi Everyone... Greetings from Hungary!
We want to give a praise report in regards to our new "English Club" being conducted by Krisztina Revesz and Timonthy Meadors! We have had new added each time... this is proving to be a great evangelistic outreach! Tim and Krisztina had favor from the teachers at the High School next door and they were able to speak to the different classes. Thank God for His faithfulness by touching the hearts of the teachers .. they have been great! There is never a dull moment around these premises.

Our conference with Lee Grady was wonderful. Our thanks to Pastor Lilla Gere, Krisztina and the ladies of Hungary who put forth their best to make it a success. We have a lot scheduled for the next year. Max and Jessica Borosso will be planning Euro Quest to be held in Hungary; much planning will be going into this endeavor; we desire your prayers. Praise reports:

1. Doors continue to open with the Arab population here. I was at a cyber cafe and talked to the husband and wife from N. Africa, when I said my name, they knew who we were and expressed their appreciation for what we are doing. They want their son to study with us. Then a few nights later, at the bus stop, we started talking with an Iraqi family. They also said they had heard good things about us from their friends and they want to get together with us. We finally met a Jordanian university student with an Evangelical background. It is a blessing to pray and read the Word with her.

2. Also, we have been given contacts for visiting Spanish people in prison and in an abuse center for women. We thank the Lord for these contacts for ministry.

3. Nancy Berry and Susana were with us and met some of the students our final week of classes. They were a blessing and then Rhonda Pruitt spent several days with us as she and another missionary scouted out some retreat information. So we have been blessed and encouraged by our friends!

4. Gary has been doing some translation for a Palestinian university student. This has opened a door of friendship and also helped cover expenses at the ministry center. Yea!

5. I thank the Lord for the Arabic classes we have been taking. The school year is over, now we'll be reviewing and practicing on our friends throughout the summer.

Prayer requests:

1. Some of our closest Palestinian families are finishing their studies here and preparing to return to their homes. They will be here this summer so we ask your prayers that the Lord will touch their hearts for Him and use us to His glory. Other friends will only be here a few more weeks before leaving. Please pray for Sana who is hungry for the Lord but will be returning to Jordan in July.

2. We will soon be attending a two week training on evangelism and discipleship taught by a teacher from Tunis. Other workers will be attending from places with difficult access to the Gospel. We pray that we'll learn a lot and be a blessing too.

3. Please pray for our Spanish neighbors and new friends - for deliverance and salvation and for the work that the Lord is raising up here in Granada.

4. Thank you! God bless you and have a great month! love, Gary and Kathy

First of all we want to praise God

Our daughter had a healthy baby boy on 5th June - Samuel Josiah. Both he and Em are doing well.

We continue to pray for baby Andrew (7months), his dad helps with our youth. He underwent 3 surgeries in one  10 days ago, spent some time in intensive care and is now at home recovering well.

It's summertime and we'd value pray with our various outreaches over the summer.

Pastor Dave is settled into home dialysis and his consultant is pleased with his blood figures.

May God continue to bless you as you serve Him

-  Pray for our trips to Kosovo where we will be working with around 5000 children and to Bulgaria for their National Youth conference.
-  Pray that God would supply so we can send 2 girls for training in the Master’s Commission.
-  Pray that the right person will come along who can help us finish our web page.
-  Give thanks to God for the health of the church and pray that more people would realize their responsibility for their church.
-  Pray for our Children’s Bible School that we will fill all the spots with the right children and for a missionary/teacher to come & help.
-  Pray for Elona our missionary.  Pray for encouragement, strength and protection.
-  Continue to pray for the finances, for my health and for our family.

-  Pray for the United Youth For Christ annual conference in September

-  For the last number of years during this time of year the giving has dropped and we went through some very rough times.  It caused us to pray and trust the Lord and each time He brought us through.  This year is completely different.  We haven’t had the crunch we usually had.  Maybe all those years were preparation for what God was going to do this year.

The finances in the church and foundation are good and we thank you all for that

Larry and Deborah Mininger

Eastern Europe

While Debbie and I have been home on furlough, we are somewhat alarmed about what is happening in 3 churches that we founded in Eastern

Europe.   We sent two of our fellow ministers for one month to stand

in the gap at this time.  As founder of these churches, Debbie and I need wisdom from heaven.  The pastors need vision from heaven and understanding on how to apply it.  As you know, leading from a distance is very difficult.  Your prayers are greatly appreciated at this time.  Pray that we can get back to the field quickly.  Thank you for caring.

The Mark McClung Family - Missionaries to Germany

Praise God!  It has been a wonderful month

  • PRAISE GOD FOR OUR NEW GRANDSON!  During the tornado storms of May 24th our daughter, Angie, went into the hospital near Oklahoma City for the delivery of their baby.  As the sirens went off, everyone was taking cover in the inside hallways of the hospital.   Early the next day we welcomed our first grandson, Byron Jack Culp, into the world and our family.  This is the first time we have been home when a grandchild was born!  A wonderful experience!
  • PRAISE GOD FOR TRAVELLING MERCIES, OPPORTUNITY & PROVISION!  We have been in the car for a month now as we have travelled and ministered in:  Minnesota, Chicago, IL, Ohio and Georgia. As we have travelled we have had the opportunity to meet and pray for many young people who feel called to missions.  Also, one morning we met a couple in a motel who were very distressed and searching. We talked with them awhile and then they asked us if we would pray for them. We went to our room and spent about an hour sharing and praying. We have heard from them and they are so happy and trusting God.
  •  We had car trouble this week.  The mechanic gave us a very high estimate to repair our car.  Since the car is older with many miles, we vacillated whether to repair the car or get a different car.  In the end, we chose to eliminate debt with car payments and have the car repaired.  Praise God when the mechanic got into the gasket, etc. the damage wasn't as bad as first thought and the repair was $800 less than estimated.
  • Tomorrow we will arrive in North Carolina where we will stay at the missionary apartment in Concord.  We are ready to unpack and complete our furlough itinerating in Cornerstone Conference.
  • PRAISE GOD OUR MAY MISSIONARY SUPPORT WAS STRONG!  We were over budget.  But, this is because there were two larger one time donations given.  We praise God that our support is increasing.
  • PRAYER REQUESTS: Pray for anointing as we minister and itinerate.
  • Pray we are able to raise the remainder of our support quickly.    Thank you, dear friends, your love and prayers are such a precious gift!  We thank God for you!  Mark, Jeannie & Jack

Be praying for FRANCE…..

We were in France last month. We had a wonderful visit with the church there. God is doing something in SW Europe and I wanted you to be praying for the Chorel & the church. It is a house church made up of all French people. They have a great vision that God gave them to better reach their community. God gave the vision to the pastor and she shared it with me and it is fantastic, of course what God gives is always over the top…I want you to join with her in prayer to see this come to completion. It is real exciting to hear the plan… be praying for the resources, the land, the builders & the money that it will take to see the vision come true. They are forming 2 couples in the church to be leaders… be praying for their discipleship and training. I will be going to Paris in July to do a special conference for the Ladies… be praying as I seek the Lord in what to speak about….

We also meet the King’s, they are a couple who have a burden for France and are planning on going to France as missionaries. Be praying as they raise their support and the place where God would have them to serve.

FROM Marty Delmon: Yes, I second the motion to pray for the Chorels, a fabulous family thoroughly grounded in the Word with MUCH to offer the Cause of Christ, and to pray for the Kings as I am eagerly awaiting their arrival in France! Please pray for me that I have a publishing breakthrough. There are still so many of my books that I want translated and into the hands of the people. Two days after my arrival back in France I participated in a national Christian Women in the Media weekend and every woman there wanted a copy of Buried Lies. Pray that the Lord will make that book available to the French who have so many national and traditional lies to overcome, as well as sexual and social lies. My workshop in two weeks is now full. Please pray that other venues will open and more and more people can find freedom by the Uprooting Buried Lies workshop. I have three books that I'm working on: Destined For Joy (I can hardly wait to present this one to the public as it is an overwhelming revelation of what Joy is and the power it presents), a children's series with cats as the characters (leading all the other cats to the Lord! - it is the time for the children and youth to lead in the last revival, n'est pas?) and a book I'm calling Raw Truth, an epic traversing all 6000 years while following a dramatic current life thriller all ending in salvation, of course! Please pray for my discipline, support me in prayer as I dive into these projects. Blessings on all my brothers and sisters who pray!

Also be praying for Paris, France … we have a wonderful church there

Gary and Kathy appreciate your prayers for them and work here in Granada. Thank you!

Praise report: We're having great classes in the ministry center and our Arab friends have been so special. Often, after class, with our adult Arab students we plug in the water pot for tea and pull out some sweets and have a good time sharing together. They help us with our language studies and our friendships deepen.

Prayer requests: I pray that the Lord will prepare the church for what He is doing in the Middle East and North Africa. I pray that we will be ready with trained workers when hearts are open to the Gospel in these places. I know that He is doing a mighty work and we need to accelerate our training. There are many workers outside the USA who have the Bible preparation and a call to the unreached but they're not prepared to work as missionaries and many of the national churches don't have the structure for faith commitments. Let's pray that the churches will be prepared to send out its workers when this window of opportunity opens.

We are sharing here with our Spanish neighbors and the students/immigrants but it has been like we're "fishing" in the Dead Sea! We know that is not true though and that God is doing more than we can see with our natural eyes - when we plant in tears, He promises that we will return rejoicing carrying the sheaves with us. And for my Mom, Charlene West, plans on leaving for Venezuela next week. She's having a lot of trouble with her throat and has requested prayer for healing so that she can minister without problems. Thanks for your prayers, Kathy God bless you!

Mark, Jeannie & Jack McClung - Missionaries to Germany

We are on furlough and staying very busy! We thank God for the services we have had. Each week we are raising support. Also, we have many opportunities to pray with young people here in our PH Churches who feel the call to be missionaries. It is exciting and fulfilling to meet these young people, encourage them, pray for them and keep in touch with them even after we leave their churches.

Prayer Needs:

Please pray for safe travels and that we can continue to raise the remaining of our support.

Pray as we move to the South Carolina Conference to finish raising support. We have reached about 40% of our goal in the last three months and we hope to raise the rest by spring. Thanks again for your prayer support!!!

Blessings to you from the McClungs

Mauricio and Lulu Salazar in Brussels

I want to thank the Lord because my wife is feeling much better and after two months she is starting to be able to do with ease most of her activities. Praise God.

I also thank the Lord because during my stay in the USA for this time I have had a good and safe trip up until now and I have seen good results with churches and pastors.

I also praise God because Logos Church in Brussels is working fine without me during this time and there has even been salvation in my absence, so as always, God takes care of His church.

Please pray for the assistant pastor of Logos Church Marius Tsaklidji because he was in a car accident and even though nobody was hurt the car was total loss and he has three kids he needs to move around and he used his car for work and he needs one desperately.

Please pray for Logos Bible School that we can keep it running in the right way and that all students may be taken to the point to be useful in Gods kingdom.

Pray for my safe return home and may God bless you all

Mauricio and Lulu Salazar

Ronnie and Margaret Turner Missionaries to Romania

Ronnie and I want to take this time to say thank you to everyone for your prayers, messages, emails, and phone calls during his illness. Ronnie is on the way to a full recovery. We are in Georgia right now with our children and we have begun itinerating to raise our support. We have had many opportunities to visit churches to share the miracle that Ronnie has experienced. We want people to know how God's miraculous hand brought Ronnie from the clutches of death. Please continue to pray as he gets stronger each day and that we can soon return to Romania to do the work God has called us to do. Pray for the Betania Church in Oradea that God will continue to move in a mighty way and to raise up many believers that will heed to the call of ministry. Pray for our pastors to be used mightily by God in reaching the lost. Pray for those who have lost their jobs due to the economy. Pray for the revival spirit to continue among the young people and that it will flow over into the older generation. Pray for God to completely heal Ronnie so that we can get back to Romania. With love and prayers, Ronnie and Margaret Turner
