SW EUROPE

Lin and Nancy Berry over Southwest Europe living in Spain

Pray for our son in Texas… he has a special request that he wants us to join him in prayer about. Also pray for our daughter in Washington DC… she has some important things happening in her life…

she is trusting the Lord for the outcome  

I thank the Lord for Lin’s safe return home to Spain. Everyone was so glad to see him at church on Sunday.

Pray for Lin… he hasn’t been feeling well and its more than just jet lag

We are in the process of renting a building for special activities for our church in Madrid.

Pray for our Pastors Jorge and Luz Mari who, with their members, are struggling to pay the rent for the churches in Antequera and Malaga- many members have lost their jobs in the financial crisis here.  

Pray for our trip to France for the special conference 15-17 May and for the time with the church that weekend.

Praise Report: 
We thank the Lord for:
-the opportunities He gave us to witness to our Spanish and Immigrant students and friends during Easter week
-Jonathan and Corrie Shirey and boys who are preparing to come to Granada
-by His grace, He continues to give us new friends who don't know Him 
Prayer Requests: 
Rev. Charlene West, Kathy's mom, will be coming to visit this month and we're praying for a harvest of souls and for wonderful anointed times of ministry. Please help us pray for her trip, for direction concerning the activities we will have, and for lives to be touched. 
For dreams, visions and healings among our friends who need a revelation of Jesus 
Our classes and contacts at the outreach center... that Jesus will be glorified and made known. The Spanish people are facing hard times and we believe that God has allowed us to be here for such a time as this. Spain is being shaken.

Pray for Portugal

Dear friends and colleagues you might already know that Patti and I will be returning to the States to itinerate a whole year earlier than expected. We have no one to leave in charge whenever we leave for furlough.  We are asking for your prayers not only that we are able to raise our support and return here quickly but that another couple would come to Portugal and be willing to be pioneer missions alongside us, this way we'd be able to maintain some momentum. We are asking for prayer for our son Paul because he will be staying in the States to attend college and not returning with us.  Also we are asking for God's grace to give us the strength to move ourselves again this month.  This will the be 19th time I've moved houses in 14 yrs.  Everyone is very sad that we are leaving so I ask for prayers for the people as well.  Tony

  >  Pray for Romanian church-plant west of London, near Heathrow Airport. Half a million Romanians live in England, and most of them are in the region of this church-plant.  Ionel & Adrianna Flutur are the church-planters.

  >  Pray for outreach to the "UPG's" in our countries.  Outreach now to Pakistanis and Punjabis.  Pray for good, apostolic leader among these people for our part of Europe.

  > Pray for Great Commission Conference focused mainly on Asians and Africans in Leicester and London.   It's all about Evangelism, discipleship and church-planting, led and taught by Jim Eby 11-12 May. 

  > Pray for Antwerp.  Ask Bill and Mau if you want more info, but the people of that city near the Belgium-Holland border are heavy on our heart!  Church-plant?

  > London School of Ministry is doing well now at 8 months old!  Pray that our 14 students will be filled with revelation of God's will and ministry for their lives.  Pray for those students now in active ministry to excel and be fruitful.  Pray we get 10 new students by September. (I will be on a TV interview 4 May to promo the school.)

 > Help us thank God for extra blessings and open doors of ministry, but also pray for relief from some of the attack our leaders are under via stolen cars, accidents, admin mishaps, and the like.

Dear Intercessors,

Benjamin Boaz Helland was born on April 15, 2012. Pray for him and for Femke as she recovers. Also, just want to praise God for lives being change. At the end of the alpha course, one girl who started as an atheist/agnostic has been so changed that she is now leading a weekly bible study. She has a gift of teaching and creativity which is amazing and God is doing and done such a great work in her.  

Pray for Amsterdam, the Netherlands. For New Life West our church. We are going on furlough this summer, so pray that we can transition everything well to the leadership team. For further growth and change even in our absence. Pray for provision as we need to raise more support and cover the expenses of a growing family and ministry.  

Also, here are a couple specific names I would request prayer for: Mathilda and Joshua (healing from a burnout), Samir (Muslim friend asking a lot of questions about Jesus), Pravin (healing), Johan, Dawn, and Andrea (for continued healing). Thanks Again,

Missionaries to Belgium

We just recently hosted two GREAT teams for the USA. The first team was from the Georgia Conference. Our second team was from Virginia and part of the Cornerstone Conference. During the this time much was accomplished for the Kingdom. In all we had special services with 6 different churches, the teams were apart of feeding the homeless on three different occasions, new offices were constructed in Logos Bible School, three special prayer gatherings were conducted, four ministry vehicles were services and repaired, four ministry computers were updated and serviced, a special Leadership Round Table was held for 9 pastors in Brussels (Pastor John Price & Rev. Rick Womack both of GA were our guest speakers.) Last but not least the teams participated in day long prayer walks through the city of Gent and Antwerp. These are cities we would like to establish an IPHC presence. These were two of the best teams we have ever connected with!

Special prayer request: 1) Pray for Gretchen and I as we continue our language school for Netherlands. 2) Pray for contacts in new cities as we target new Church plants. 3) Please pray for a young man named Wesley. We recently met him during our prayer walks. He has agreed to meet with us again and we intend on sharing the gospel with him.

Pray for The Miningers in Eastern Europe

Larry and Debbie will be traveling from the East Coast to the West Coast.  Please keep them in prayer for traveling mercies. Please pray that new support partners are acquired so that they can meet their budget and get back on the field by October.      

Debbie would like to take this time to thank everyone who prayed for her sister Janet.  Debbie had to make an emergency trip to California because the Doctors did not think her sister would live out the week.  Because of all the prayers, her sister came home from the   hospital after 6 weeks and was able to attend church on Easter Sunday.  She even took her place at the organ for the service this past Sunday.  God answered prayer.

“ Greetings to you. Our hope is in Christ and that all of you are doing well in what He has assigned you to do. I know each of you depend on our Lord to guide you so it makes what we do a blessing to know He is in charge. I just returned from taking 15 people to the 7 Churches of Revelation (Turkey)

Praise: As you know we have been asking the Lord to lead us in getting property in Turkey.As of February a 4 story building has been purchased and totally paid for in Laodicea/Denizli. Thank the Lord prices are far more reasonable then in Western Europe. Never the less it is still a miracle and we give the Lord all the Glory.

Prayer: Over the next 30 days we are renovating and need you to pray that there is not a community backlash of people not wanting a “church” in their neighborhood. We have Government permission to have a church, but a community has a right to protest it’s location, even if there was going to be a Mosque next door.

We have already had publicity (good) in the lead newspaper last week, but at this point they don’t know where we are located. We will make that announcement as soon as we are renovated. Please pray for the Lord to overshadow all that is going on there until all is ready.

 

Blessings to all you do as each of your ministries is equally significant in God’s eyes.

We are a Continent of dense population with very little Christian witness  under 2% in most places

 

SW EUROPE

Lin and Nancy Berry over Southwest Europe living in Spain

Remember Lin as he travels and visits the churches in the states and for me(Nancy) here in Spain

Pray for our finances, for our support to be raised back to where it should be

Our church in Madrid we are looking for a building to rent for activities. We rent a movie theater for Sunday morning services… we have all the different house groups that meet during the week in different parts of Madrid but we would like a place large enough to have leadership, discipleship & special classes and other activities during the week.

We have a special service planned for Easter with special worship and testimonies of the power of Christ in peoples’ lives planned for Sunday morning. Pray that the presence of God will touch our lives and change us that we will live victories

Pray as we continue to serve here in Spain, for our churches and their pastors… many of our churches are suffering with the crisis and unemployment (27%)

Pray that people will see the need to send missionaries to Europe. We are a Continent of dense population with little or no Christian witness  under 2% in most places here in Western Europe… Europeans today are an unreached people group they are starving to death spiritually... we must tell them about the resurrected Lord and HIS power to change and transform lives

 

 

Pray for Italy

Pray for Jeff and Miranda Weaver new missionaries going to Italy

Jeff and I are approved as missionaries to Italy.  We are raising our budget.  We have two children we live in Easley, SC.

The biggest prayer requests we have is for Pastors to allow us to share our hearts regarding Italy with their congregations.  We started off with a bang, but now it is getting rather hard to get a response from anyone.  We are also attempting to learn Italian through Rosetta Stone.  It is fun, but challenging.  Our whole family is doing it.  Right now, those are our immediate needs. Thank you for your prayers.

PLEASE PRAY FOR THE FIRST FRANCE SUMMIT that we will have May 15-17. Pray for the organisation and for the World Mission Leaders coming to share. (Dr Beacham, Bob Cave, Linwood Berry and others...) Please pray also for the French pastors that are invited to come and get acquainted with WM of the IPHC. We expect a great time of sharing and fellowship in the Lord. We expect also a New Vision for the IPHC in France.

With Passion for Jesus and Revival

 

Pray for Marty missionary in France:

I  have so many praise reports to make that it's difficult to choose.  Four books came out in French:  Destined for Grace, Destined for Faith, How to Rid Your Life of Buried Lies, and Muslim Stories - true testimonies of Muslims coming to Christ.  Destined for Joy came out in English and is now translated into French.  I have another novel which has been burning in my heart for two years now and a woman offered her house in a beach community for four months to write it!  Glory to God! Please pray that I express the whole of God's heart for this project.  My friend, Earl Green and I have created six CDs of my telling my personal stories and him singing (a fine tenor, operatic voice) related songs interspersed in my stories.  Watch for them!  Pray that they touch the entire world! The first one will be Intimacy With Jesus.  And because I am being obedient and doing what He said to do, my finances have  augmented!  Also, I had a rare treat of spending some good quality time with my friend Kathleen Presley!

Praise Report: 
1. We thank God for the open doors in the community to witness and pray with Spanish neighbors and share with immigrant friends from N. Africa and the Middle East. Easter has been a good time to talk about our faith.
2. We have and awesome group of language students from Spain, Morocco, Algeria and the Middle East. This Wednesday we'll have an Easter activity with kids from our Kid's English class.

1. The Shireys as they await their visas to come to Granada and prepare for their move.

NW EUROPE

Pray for Mauricio & Lulu Salazar Missionaries to Belgium-Europe

We have great news and also prayer requests for this moment of time in Belgium.

The last few months have been very intense in the life of our ministry here in Brussels because we have had to move the Logos church and bible college out of the old location and into a new place and the new area is literally a Pakistani/ Afghan commercial/residential neighborhood downtown Brussels. It's a very challenging area of the city where many nationalities gather together and even the building is full of challenges. The government city office of this area of the city called Anderlecht is very much against churches and the establishment of any ministry or church in their part of town. There is dozens of churches of international diversity in the area and only one very successful Belgian one that I know about. Togolese, Brazilian, Hispanic, Congolese and soooo many more that are driving the local government literally crazy.

Please pray for these king of churches in Belgium that are, like in many other cities of Belgium, the majority.

The building we rented in is a challenge as well. We are in the first floor (European) and there used to be an African/Congolese Pentecostal church in the Fourth Floor and they where soooo noisy and problematic that a Belgian Flemish man took them to court and they were evicted by the judge. What a terrible testimony for Jesus. Now we have inherited the bad testimony and we are trying our best not to cause problems, and up to now after three months it's working, but we need grace with the man that generated the eviction because he actually works in the commune offices.

Also, in the last two months  we have had the visit of Dr. Beacham, Dr. Deaton, Harold Presley and we will receive the visit of all the missionaries in the UK and Amsterdam as well as two teams coming back to back invited by Bill Schwartz. Sooooooooo busy. Please pray.

The family is ok but I am having serious pain in my lower back due to an old lesion of the first lumbar disk. Please pray for this.

EASTERN EUROPE

Pray for the Euroquest an event for the youth of Europe:

The youth of ISPE(IPHC Church) in Madrid, would like to ask prayer for the upcoming event called Euroquest, which will be held this summer from June 27th to June 30th in Vajda Hungary, and wants European Youth to gather together to fellowship with one another and grow in their relationship with Christ. Our prayer is that this conference changes our lives, helping us, and each of the attendees from all the European countries that will be there, To grow up as Christ followers, and makes us radical persons, in a way that Jesus becomes Our first Love above everything else (since we live in this world full of distractions specially for the youth.) Also, as you all know, we are in a Europe that is united in all aspects (EU), we would like as well that God strengthens the unity between all the countries that will be attending, making strong relationships and connections, so He empowers the next generation of European leaders to reach together Europe, you know, we are all one body in HIM.  

We would like to thank God for all the things that he has been doing for us, because we know that EuroQuest will definitely be a life-changing experience, and we strongly believe that He will provide  every spiritual and financial need for this trip, He has already fostered unity among us, and helped some of us with the money needed, the deadline for payment has been moved back, and also the cost of the conference was reduced, that's why we know that He will help all of his Children that have the desire in their hearts to go to the conference. Blessings.

 

Pray for The Miningers in Eastern Europe

Larry and Debbie are in California this week to be with Debbie's sister Janet Buchanan. She has cancer and was near death. The Lord has raised her up and she be able to go back home soon. Please prayer for her total healing.

Larry and Debbie are over half the way to raising their support. Please pray it can go quickly and they can get back on the field…  The Miningers

 

Pray for David, Valbona, Christopher and Kimberley Pennoyer in Albania

·        Pray for the upcoming “Emerging Leaders Training” at the end of April with Next Level International.

·        Pray for Jason, Jill and Jon who are all in the process of raising the necessary funds so they can come and work together with us here in Albania.  If you would like to give to their support you can do so through GCCM.

·        Pray for a miracle of supply for our 5^th floor expansion and for the new centre at the Seafarers mentioned above.

·        Pray for a new teacher to come and help with the education of our children.  We need someone to come in September.

·         Continue to pray for our family’s health that God would protect, keep, and bring complete healing.
