Pray for Bob & Carol Cave our OMC for Europe & the Middle East: Greetings from the island of Cyprus.

" I have just been in Turkey and of course a firsthand visit makes you aware of the needs. As we know this country is 99% Muslim, with 82% secular Muslims and 18% fundamental Muslims. This is good in that there are many opportunities among the Secular group as many are seeking answers. Our church in Ankara, the capital, with Ismail and Angela Serinken is progressing quite well. They need your prayer covering to be able to move into new frontiers and identify the spiritual forces that come against them. We would like to start a Coffee House ministry in 2009 and again need prayer for the right strategy there in their neighborhood.

There is a great Christian Radio station there in the capital and we would like to partner with them to expand into some other cities like Antioch and Laodecia. They reach a good portion of the people in the capital and Christian music is quite accepted. You can catch them on Internet Radio at www.radioshema.com Please pray that not only the 3000 Evangelical Christians of Turkey, but 100,000s of others will hear the Gospel through this median.

Israel: We ( Dr. Beacham, Dave Fannin) will be in Israel starting on the 2nd of Dec. Gary Bryant is also bring a group of our pastors ( through Acts2Day) and we will be hooking up with Hani Shehadeh in Galilee. We are hoping many of these pastors will get a heart for what God is doing in IPHC in Israel. On Sunday Dec. 7 we will be forming a conference in Israel. Please pray that supernatural doors will open in that Country of turmoil."

Pray for Gary & Kathy in Spain

Prayer requests: We've had heavy attacks against our family the past two months and would appreciate your prayers for us.
2. We started a kid's Christmas club and meet every Friday afternoon. It's like a Bible club and I'm hoping that the children will want to continue with an Easter club after Christmas. The 6 young children (from 3-6 yrs.) that have attended so far are Spanish and really like it.
3. I visit and pray with several of my neighbors, one especially on a regular basis. Please pray that these friends will grow in the Lord and want more fellowship around Him.
4. The language classes we teach will finish mid-December and we'll have some end of the cycle "parties." We pray that in this relaxed atmosphere, spiritual conversation will arise, like it did today when we had a good conversation about fasting in the ladies' class. They were very surprised to know that we fast and wanted to know more about it.
5. We have a great group of friends, neighbors, and over 50 students - our prayer is that they all come to know the Lord in a personal way, grow closer to Him, and want to be discipled.
6. Christmas will be a time we'll visit a lot of these people and many will come to visit us. Pray that we'll be sensitive to the Holy Spirit in ministering to them
7. You all have a wonderful Christmas!
Praise report:
1. We praise the Lord for what He is doing here, even though with our eyes we haven't seen all we want, with our hearts, we know He is working .
2. We praise the Lord for the Arabic classes we're taking 6 hours a week. They are very good.
3. At Thanksgiving, we were able to have several meals in our home with families or representatives from seven different families. Before eating we read a Psalm and explained the meaning of the celebration then prayed thanking God for His mercies, blessings and provision. We also shared testimonies during the meal.
4. Praise the Lord for our supervisors and our supporters. Praise the Lord for you! Praise the Lord because of Jesus!
Pray for Portugal: Tony & Patti

We are requesting prayer for our personal support account. This year is the first time in 10 years that we have been in the red. We are not looking forward to going on furlough and have to raise a lot of money.

On the good side of things the Music and Language center (coffee shop) is going well. I now have 19 students, most of whom are Portuguese and who have never really heard the Gospel before. We ask for your prayers for the upcoming concert that the students will be performing sometime in Feb 2009. We be introducing them to Praise and worship music for the first time. We are also asking for your prayers in regards to our house here, because we don’t know what to do about it during our furlough.

First of all we have excellent and great news, answers to prayer. The security commission has granted us the classification 5 in order to open the building to the public. Also during the summer every Sunday the police came and wrote statements of 1.500 Euros each week because we were in the building, yesterday, because we have closed the building, all this amount has been cancelled and they have put an end to all their pursuits. But now they ask us to finish the works necessary very quick to get "rid of us". So if there is some more brothers or a team who would like to come and help finish the work it would be great! It is quite urgent now.
Also pray for the 13-14 December 2008, for the ordination of pastors Marc and Annemarie Lebrun and our partnership with IPHC.

Pray for Germany

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
We thank you for staying together with us in prayer. We had a wonderful start with Royal Ranger!

Many children join us in this work. The success is more than we expected.
Also in our church services the glory of God is stronger than before. Last Sunday some people started to prophesy during our worship time. Please pray that the church will open up more to the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Also pray for an encounter with Jesus. Please pray for Berlin! Many churches in this city are going through hard times. There are conflicts between leadership, financial conditions and so on.
Pray for an open door to our society to preach the gospel. Pray for the church members that they become a willing heart to go and to do the will of the father.
Remember this in Prayer: We have invited many people in our neighbourhood for
our Advent celebration we will have a large campfire. This event will start on the 13 of December.
Beate will lead us in Christmas songs. The Royal Ranger will take care of the fire. I will give a short evangelistic massage.
Please pray for good weather; Cold is OK but hopefully not wet.
Pray for the Christmas Eve service. We will have a nativity play presented by our children.

Pray for Mark & Jeannie McClung going to Germany
We look forward to being back on the field as Pentecostal Holiness Church missionaries. We are excited to plant a new PH Church in or near Herrnhut, Germany and we are excited to work with young people at the YWAM base in Herrnhut. We are busy itinerating and we thank God for the services we have had. We have had a lot of special opportunities to pray with young people here in our PH Churches who feel the call to be missionaries. It is exciting and so fulfilling to meet these young people, encourage them, pray for them and keep in touch with them even after we leave their church.
We are currently raising our support and we would love to return to Germany in the summer of 2009 so that Jack can start school in Germany next fall.
Dear fellow European missionaries - we are praying for you! We have the hope for the World - Jesus Christ! We pray you have divine opportunities to share the Gospel and lead many to Christ and we pray many will become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ as you teach the Word of God.

Pray for Gary & Kathy in Spain
Prayer requests:
1. The students and relationships from the classes we're giving. We will have Thanksgiving and Christmas activities and invite our contacts and use these times to focus on their true meanings. Salvation for our friends/students.
2. That we can begin a cell group before the year is over.
3. To begin a Bible club for kids.
4. I think many of you know my mom, Charlene West. She has returned to pastoring the church she founded in OKC because of ethical problems with the new pastor there of 4 months. Now he is trying to divide the church and start a new one. Please remember her and the church during this time.
Praise requests:
1. An Arab student has asked me for a NT to read.
2. We are having new students sign up for classes and they are enthusiastic. The best class so far is the English for Kids class with 10 students - Spanish, Algerian, Moroccan and Jordanian. We also have a Basic Spanish class for men and it has several Palestinian men. New students continue to enroll and we thank the Lord for each one.
3. Douglas Rosales and family from Venezuela have now moved to the island of Trinidad to begin the IPHC missions training center there for Latin America. Although they are having to adjust to many things - like speaking English, they are excited. They are also facing the normal challenges and appreciate your prayers.
4. The Arabic classes we are taking are great and are providing a door for new friendships with Spanish people. It is a great way to meet people. We are spending 6 hours, four days a week with them and believing that the Lord will help us win some of them for His kingdom.
Pray for Portugal: Tony & Patti
Thank you everyone for your many prayers for us here in Portugal. God is bringing people to Nova Vida Center where we are teaching English and Guitar. We are trusting the Lord to build HIS church as we endeavor to be obedient. Today a man that I had been praying for; for about two years off and on came to our office with his wife and daughter to see about English classes for his daughter. I believe this is providential. Pray with us for this family as well as the other students we have that through our giving they will see the love of the Lord and be open to receive just Him! Thank you again Lin and Nancy for your leadership to us and to everyone of our fellow missionaries that have lifted us up in prayer. God is working here!
Pray for Pastor Joseph Agius Work in Malta:
Please pray for:
· the restoration of broken relationships in the church especially marital.
· Permit to build the second story. The building authority wants us to have a lift, but we have space for.
· Christians to be sincere with themselves and the Lord
· Our evangelistic outreaches to be fruitful. Although we faithfully have monthly outreaches as a church we do not yet see people saved from these activities.

I received from Global University they have agreed to send me an application for the post of Director in Malta. Once it is filled a final decision will be taken. Please pray it happens because this mean a lot to me.

This month, I am asking for focused prayer on the distribution of my book "Wild Card". The book was written for the purpose of reaching the lost and I am believing God for one million souls to come into the Kingdom. Since I am in France, there is little I can do about the distribution. We had a blessed time with a lot of community.

I am returning to Montpellier on the 6th October. Please pray for my safe and uneventful flight and that when I arrive I hit the ground running. For my return the thing that burdens my heart the most is that I do not have a good church to attend. Please pray that God will move someone into Montpellier to start a church, a strong IPHC church. Pray for me to discover more radio stations. I'd like ten more before Christmas! Pray for the inspiration to work the required number of stories and for the wisdom to get them recorded in English. Praying for Malta: Pray for Childrens Outreach

Please pray for:
· Righteousness to rain on the believers
· Christians realize their responsibilities regarding holiness
· Relationships will be honored and respected
· Workers will increase in number to reap the harvest
· Young believers in the Lord, to protect their first love.

Sunday we had an outreach and the response from many church members were good. Also we had fair response from people.
Tuesday we distributed over 2,000 booklets with the gospel message in our church’s neighborhood.
Please pray that the seed we are sowing and watering, will bring in its fruit as God makes it grow.

Pray for Spain: Samuel & Raquel have come to Spain to work on their visa to return to Macedonia. That might take some time so please pray for God´s will. They are now in Spain helping Rafa & Patty in the work in Malagon. This is an answer to prayer for them because they have been in need of some help and his health (Rafa) has not been good so this is a way that God is encouraging both couples. Below is a picture of both couples taken at our house we Samuel & Raquel had just arrived from Macedonia and they were on their way to help out Rafa and Patty. God is so good. Rafa is in the red shirt and Samuel in the white shirt. Pray for them!!!

prayer requests; but first of all we want to praise the Lord for an answered prayer: at the prefecture they have given their agreement for the legacy that lady gave us. But we still have to pray because they have lost our file. Pray that they might find it again!
Thank you to pray for pastors Marc and Annemarie Lebrun, who are tired, and wearied, physically, emotionally, because of the pression on their shoulders.
Still pray for a spiritual breakthrough, the souls, the light of God in the hearts in the church.

Pray for Marty Delmon
I have a lovely praise report. I am allergic to bee stings and every time I've been stung the effects have been worse and worse. Years ago, with the last bee sting I experienced, the doctor told me if I were ever stung again I should get to the emergency room of a hospital within 30 minutes or I would be dead. A week ago a bee stung me on the neck. My schedule allowed no space to add a trip to the emergency room! So I took authority over it in the name of Jesus and went about my business. A knot developed on my neck, hard, red and hot. It stayed there for a week and today its gone leaving some scaly skin where it had been, but that is diminishing rapidly! Glory to God! A certain radio station has asked permission to record my stories for their station only because they want to use multiple voices for the different characters. That is a dream of mine come true! But I never had the money to make it happen. They are doing this on their own and aren't asking for any money! Glory to God! Please pray that this endeavor will be even better than anything else that my stories have produced and that more and more people hear the Gospel because of this recording. In His Joy!Marty

Special Prayer need:
Igor & Lena are from Kiev and are working in Turkey as missionaies. They write:
We ask you to lift us up in prayer. Something is going on, which we exactly cannot understand and fight back. We have felt like giving up. We would like to understand what is happening and we need the faith to go through this trail.
We have been in Ukraine more then a month, we spend amost all this time alone seeking God and His purposes for us. We have been through many battles and things we needed to fight within ourselves. It was painful. But we continue to press on.
Last week has been very intensed we were awaken at night for prayer and during the day we hardly even want to eat anything. The circumstances around us have been very weird, not typical at all. Things have been changing and still are being changed with the anourmous speed. I felt an urge to write to all of you who will be moved to keep us in prayer because we want and must overcome but the further we go the more things come on our way. It is great to be grandparents. Remember us in your prayers. This past month was the only month that our whole family was together. Our daughter will be going to the Congo, Africa before the new year & our son who just had their first baby will be going to Porto Rico the first of August. So our time together was very special to us. We have just returned to Spain and are happy to be back doing the work of the Lord here in Europe. This month Lin will be traveling to Portugal and to France. Remember him in your prayers.

Here are some prayer requests/praise reports

1. I'm giving a children's music class twice a week which means I get to be with the kids and their families. There are 9 children enrolled - 3 Jordanian, 2 Palestinian, 2 Spanish, 1 Costa Rican. We pray these families come to know the Lord.

2. Neighbors and friends we're sharing/praying with and believing they will come to know the Lord. (Some pretty heavy needs and problems they're facing)

3. A Venezuelan couple who will come visit us a week in August and give a training on Teaching English as A Second Language (We took this course with her in the States, where they're living and it's the method we use in our classes). Also, the man is a petroleum engineer and travels a lot, especially to the Arab countries, this couple have (and are) a beautiful testimony, we're planning to have them meet our Arab friends too. She's a medical doctor. I know that the Lord will use them - they have a missionary heart.

4. We begin Arabic languages classes in a language institute in September. I've been studying Arabic for several years now but it is really a challenge. I pray that we'll be able to get the help we need to really advance in the language.

5. Praise God for a great trip to Venezuela, where we see people responding to the missionary challenge. We participated in the Caracas Missionary Convention and also preached in 3 other churches the two weeks we were gone. It was awesome!!!

6. Venezuelan missionaries, Douglas, Marina and little daughter Andrea, will be moving this month to Trinidad, an island off the coast of Venezuela, to begin to set up a missionary training school in Spanish ( In cooperation with WMM). It will be Latin America's SAFARI. Douglas and wife need to find a house and all the things involved in becoming established. Please remember them.

1. That the new shop will really reach people for Christ. In the shop we are going to teach English and beginners level guitar and bass. We thought we'd offer the Portuguese a service that might facilitate relationships. 2. That the present trouble that we are having will presently pass and not escalate.

These are our prayer requests:
· That more Maltese will accept the gospel and be saved. And that we will be more evangelistic oriented.
· I have been more busy with counseling these last days, it’s been mostly marriage problems. I wish the prayer partners to concentrate on the well being of our marriages.
· The church in Malta will become more aware of the need of systematical teachings.
· That Christians in general will be able to discern the erroneous teachings that are being transmitted on the local TV stations.
· Please pray for Word of Life to be conscious of our responsibilities as children of God.
o MAJOR PRAYER REQUEST: An a good opportunity has come for the church to purchase a building adjacent to the church. It is has a lot of potential for immediate need and future development. Please pray for our wisdom. Thanks for your prayers.

I'm in DC at the moment and won't be returning to France till October. After traveling the West Coast I am now settled in Dublin, VA till my return. Please pray for new supporters and increased support. My new book, Wild Card, an evangelistic novel, is coming out in August. Please pray it will bring multitudes into the Kingdom of God. I did one of my workshops in the Orange County jail of Orlando, Women's division, and everyone received freedom and the peace and joy of Jesus. I guess one of my favorite authors outside the bible is Oswald Chambers, who though he had a fairly short life wrote some profound words. He said the key to a missionary's work is the authority of Jesus Christ, not the needs of the lost. Our Lord places Himself as the absolute sovereign and supreme Lord over His disciples. He doesn't say the lost will never be saved if we don't go......He simply says, "Go therefore and make disciples of all Nations......" He says " Go on the basis of the revealed truth of My sovereignty, teaching and preaching out of your living experience of Me." We look for opportunities to GO to the places that have never heard a presentation of the Gospel ONCE.

In a Middle Eastern country is a brother I have been talking with and e-mailing that has several(6) underground churches. They need our prayers as the work grows and the gospel is spread. This is a very strict Muslim country but we are finding more and more Muslims are seeking truth and God is revealing Himself to them.

Prayer is our door opener to the Middle East so pick one or two of these countries to pray that the Lord will show us His keys to establishing a work there:
Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Kuwait, Iran, Yemen, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, United Arab Emeritus, Omen.

It is great to be grandparents. Remember us in your prayers. This month will be the only month that we as a family will be together for a while. Our daughter will be going to the Congo, Africa before the new year & our son who just had their first baby will be going to Porto Rico in August. So our time together is very special to us. Prayer requests:
1. Summer activities in Granada, a time when many are away on vacation and avoiding the extreme heat here. I've talked to several Costa Rican friends here who are professors and doing university work here about helping with some summer activities at the center. It would give me more time with them and with mothers and children in the community.
2. Pepita, one of our Spanish neighbor's, has an adult son who is very delicate from a terrible accident. Please pray for them both. I visit and pray with her regularly and have a wonderful relationship with her son, Victor.
3. Some of our Middle Eastern friends are very sad and lonely this summer as most of their friends are gone for vacation. Their families have weddings and they won't be able to attend. Right now, we are the only family they have here so we pray we can be a blessing to them and that they can see the Lord's love shinning through us.
4. This week we leave for Venezuela after being away for six years! We'll be sharing in their missionary conference and in some of the churches. We pray that the Lord will speak through us to minister to the hearts and encourage the church to fulfill the great commission.

1. Our daughter and husband have had a beautiful baby boy weighing 8'15oz. His name is Luke, after the NT doctor. Our Luke's dad is studying medicine.

I'm itinerating. Currently I'm speaking at a Family Camp in CA and then off to Florida where I will give my workshop at a women's federal prison for 400 inmates! Please pray for each of them to receive Christ and to be completely set free from the darkness of their pasts, that their souls will be washed clean! Then I go to Virginia for a month and a half where I am speaking at almost 2 dozen churches. Please pray that many more will partner with me bringing the monthly giving up to the required level for me to live and minister in France. My new book, Wild Card, an evangelistic novel, comes out in July. Please pray that it will affect souls all over the world and bring in a great harvest of new births into the Kingdom of God.    Dear colleagues, we are asking for prayer for the ministry here in Portugal. We are working with Teen Challenge and we also have some other things in the pipeline. On the personal side I’m asking for prayer for my back. I have seemed to hurt it again and this time it hasn’t recovered very quickly. Secondly I ‘m having a hernia surgery a few days after our time in Canada, also Patti suffers everyday with back pain because she has scoliosis and there is little anyone can do for this problem.    Praise reports: In Paris I attended a conference for the Christian radio stations. The owners and managers were so complimentary and appreciative of my programs. Praise God they are having a wonderful effect on the French. They gave me many names to contact for more stations. They are forming a Women in the Media group of which I will be a part. The stations call me a Producer and have asked that I produce even more programs, like sound bites and minute Bible studies. Please pray for me to obtain the writing rhythm for these outreaches. A certain woman in England, well placed for this assignment, has taken my workshop via audio book and has now set her mind to put the audio books in every church in England. She plans to have me do a major workshop in the fall, put me on television for an interview, and introduce the audio book to those in leadership. Please pray for the success of this effort so that many can be set free! My next novel, Two Worlds At War, is almost finished, and since I also have two finished Christian screenplays, I would like to now have an agent. Please pray for this help to arrive.    - Thanks to God for answering our prayers
   We see many good things happening in our Church. There is a family with a 3 month old baby, they are new coming to our Church.
   Last month we celebrate the Baby dedication, of their daughter Fiona Fee. Please pray for this family.
   
   - There are some people in the Church consider to restart our Royal Ranger work. That would be a great blessing.
   Please pray for those people and for the best timing for that.
   
   - My daughter Jessica, when I was in Madrid she became sick. She has a virus infection of Epstein-Bahr-Virus.
   - For days her temperature goes up to 40° Celsius. Now she is in the hospital.
   - We are ending the special teaching sequence made by Reinhard Bonke named Full Flame, Igniting a Passion for the Lost.
   ( http://www.fullflame.net/ ) This coming Sunday we will have a special Church service. We pray that many people became baptise with the Holy Spirit.
   - Please keep on praying for Michel Winkel he suffers with cancer.

Hi everyone and I’d like to say thank you for your prayers as of late and just to update you, we are now focusing on working with Teen Challenge. Teen challenge has a very well organize program here and they are willing to accept our offer to help in the area of counseling and other related areas. We have been given the OK from them that if we want to someday open another coffee house that that would be a good idea. Hopefully it would grow into a church. Patti and I have always wanted to have a church that had it’s feet firmly planted on the ground and reaching out to people in need. We hope that this kind of church and it’s message will show the other Portuguese that our church is a relevant and caring church not just another foreign cult that has come into their little country. I just did another of my "Uprooting Buried Lies" workshops with such sterling results! 100% had deep, cleansing deliverances through intimacy with Jesus. The Lord showed one woman 3 people she needed to forgive, so she did. Then He said there was one more and He was looking at her. Suddenly she was also looking at herself and He asked if she loved that person and she said she supposed so. He said if she loved that person she would forgive her. She forgave herself and took herself into her arms and became one person. The woman practically floated on air as she left. Please pray that more and more opportunities are opened to me to lead this workshop. The Body needs Restoration! Please pray that my writing time will be protected and the enemy will not bring distractions against me! That I will have the spiritual strength to say "NO"! Thank you! In His Restoration!Marty

First Friday Fast

Join the First Friday Fast!
Christian leaders around the world have been observing the first Friday of each month as a day of fasting and prayer since the days of John Wesley. We want to join the First Friday Fast as a monthly day of corporate fasting and prayer by IPHC members around the world. It is a day to humble ourselves as we seek God together as a spiritual army linked in prayer for our outreach objectives and for the specific nation each of us calls home.
Make the first Friday of each month a day of prayer and fasting for the success of our global evangelism efforts. Intercede for your own nation and the accomplishment of designated goals set by the denomination, conferences, and local churches.
Suggestions for First Friday Fast involvement:
PRAY as a single believer, as a husband and wife team, with a prayer partner, in a prayer group, as a family, a church fellowship, or in community gathering.
FAST as a biblical way of “humbling” yourself, perhaps by skipping certain meals or by observing a 24-hour total fast.
The Bible shows that when God's people humble themselves, unite together, pray fervently, and fast in agreement, an incredible exponential prayer potential is released. The focus of this prayer potential is to honor God's desire and mandate (2 Chronicles 7:14; 1 Timothy 2:1-4) as we cry out for His help in defeating all our enemies (Isaiah 41:10, 13; Psalm 108:13, TLB). Let's believe together for God to strengthen our corporate potential to achieve global commitments for His honor. Let's trust Him to continue to empower us as we move forward to fulfill our calling in Christ Jesus.

Thank you Nancy for heading up WIN and we give thanks as I truly saw and felt the network in action. Thanks to our Lord and Savior because He does have us in is BIG Hands. As of today( Saturday March 1 ) Carol is doing much better. As Nancy reported she was discharged from the hospital on Monday and had such a bad night I had to take her back through Emergency on Tuesday morning.
Of course no emergency happens at a good time. Carol was in Canada looking after our grandchildren as our son and his wife took their first vacation alone since they married 17 years ago. I was in Ashburnham England at the British Pastors retreat so I took off right away and got in the next afternoon. I say all that to say that God gave us all a peace and was already taking care of things for which I give Him praise. Praise Him also for a good recovery.
Please remember Carol as she fully recovers and we get back on schedule next week in the North Carolina Global Outreach promotions.

1) For 2 weeks now, the Lord has led us to cry out to Him on Sunday evenings for revival. He leads us in prayer by His Spirit. We testify already some changes, especially through repentance (even publicly) and forgiveness. Pray for the breakthrough in individual lives and the whole church.

(We) Lin and Nancy had a wonderful Conference with them and God is blessing. February the 15 they have a special activity planned for Valentine’s Day so remember this in your prayers. They have a very nice cafe bar that is working nicely. We enjoyed our time with them. It was a great conference, good fellowship and we expect that this year for them will be a time of increase and growth.

Remember the Church in your prayers:

- Please, pray for the church, that a spirit of repentance may come for a change of hearts. (Ezekiel 36 :26-27)
- for laborers for the church and our mission work (bookstore, publishing ministry, etc.)
- From February the 6th we are on a 40 days of prayer and fast for France. For many years now, and each year, all the churches in France pray and fast for our country, usually before Easter. This year, one of our subject of intercession will be the local elections, on March 9th and the 16th.
- For the finances and also the official authorizations for our building.

Daniel Fast for January 1-21, 2008

The Awakening America Alliance, a group of leaders from various denominations, has called for this fast beginning January 1, 2008. Our call to prayer says: “Together we are praying for a spiritual awakening to sweep across America to change hearts and lives and bring millions into the Kingdom of God.” I encourage you to join thousands of Christians in a time to humble ourselves, pray and seek the Lord for mercy and revival. It can also be a time to seek the Lord for personal direction, empowerment and grace for the new year, as well as for breakthroughs in your health, ministry or family life.What is a "Daniel fast"? It is a partial fast based on Daniel 10:2-3. Daniel wrote that he mourned for three weeks, during which he ate "no tasty food, nor did meat or wine enter my mouth." The exact guidelines for this fast are not clear, but most people see it as a time to eat only simple fruits and vegetables.
Here are some simple guidelines for a Daniel fast. The list of foods below is not meant to be a law. The important thing is that you determine the guidelines and then stick to them during the 21 days. Keep in mind that during any type of fast, you may experience fatigue, headaches or irritability because your body begins to expel toxins. Also, you should always consult a doctor before fasting if you have certain medical conditions such as diabetes or if you are on medication.Feel free to share this information with your church or prayer group.
Food Guidelines for a Daniel Fast

Foods you may eat:
Whole grains: Brown rice, oats, barley
Legumes: Dried beans, pinto beans, split peas, lentils, black eyed peas
Fruits: Apples, apricots, bananas, blackberries, blueberries, boysenberries, cantaloupe, cherries, cranberries, figs, grapefruit, grapes, guava, honeydew melon, kiwi, lemons, limes, mangoes, nectarines, papayas, peaches, pears, pineapples, plums, prunes, raisins, raspberries, strawberries, tangelos, tangerines, watermelon
Vegetables: Artichokes, asparagus, beets, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, celery, chili peppers, corn, cucumbers, eggplant, garlic, gingerroot, kale, leeks, lettuce, mushrooms, mustard greens, okra, onions, parsley, potatoes, radishes, rutabagas, scallions, spinach, sprouts, squashes, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, turnips, watercress, yams, zucchini; veggie burgers are an option if you not allergic to soy.
Liquids: Spring water, distilled water, 100% all-natural fruit juices, 100% all natural vegetable juices.
Others: Seeds, nuts, sprouts
Foods to Avoid: Meat, White rice, Fried foods, Caffeine, Carbonated beverages, Foods containing preservatives or additives, Refined sugar, Sugar substitutes, White Flour and all products using flour, Margarine, shortening, high fat products.
